Thanks for dropping by my blog. Today's post is a bit special as it is the first. The blog is technically still under construction, but I just could not wait to share today's card with you.
Created this card for the #30daycardmakingchallenge from Martin Stone of Martins Mayhem in the UK. The card challenge is a great distraction from the current global pandemic COVID-19. To escape from the stress and worry with all that is going on, I've been creating and crafting to keep calm and carry on. The Details
For this card, I used Granny Apple Green for the card base with a So Saffron mat. The background image was created by sponging the blue sky with Balmy Blue and for the grassy meadow I sponged a bit of Granny Apple Green. I used mirror image technique for the Mama duck and fussy cut them all after coloring them with Stampin' Up!'s alcohol Blends Markers. Often in the Spring, it rains quite a bit so I added the cloud from the recent March 2020 No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Kit. Of course I had to use the rain drop embellishments to complete the scene. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings.
